The definition of a Work Zone is the combination of manpower (including women), equipment and technology to improve a situation or condition that has either fallen into disrepair or needs reconstructed to build a safe and effective entity; this could be in the form of a highway, bridge, or home repair.  At Work Zone Fitness our goal is to provide the equipment, technology and trained staff in a hometown atmosphere to offer you the opportunity to improve body, mind and overall health.

We are not going to be a “hard sell” fitness center.  It is our intention to provide options and expertise, and trust you to make the decisions that will make your association with Work Zone Fitness a rewarding experience.  We will value your input as we expand our equipment offerings. We will constantly strive to add quality and value to your workout with every addition.  We are also excited to learn through your knowledge and experiences.  Should you be familiar with a particular brand or type of equipment at another health club that you feel would enhance your experience at Work Zone Fitness please speak to us about it.  We want your input!

To start, you will find a wide range of equipment, some new, some used.  Our philosophy is that no one company makes the best of every machine and as we contemplate replacing equipment, we expect the comments of our members to be key in our selection of suppliers.

We will encourage friendships in a helpful atmosphere and demand our staff to be courteous and expect that our members will be helpful to one another.  When finished with any equipment or instructional device, we insist that everything be returned to a rack or station ready to be used by the next member.  It will be our goal to keep all paper products and sanitizers in stock and ready to be used.  Any equipment breakdowns will be repaired as soon as possible.  We will ask all members to alert staff of any signs of wear and potential unsafe conditions as soon as possible.

You will notice that some of our staff has existing personal training relationships with clients.  The goal of our trainers is not to talk you into personal training, but instead we will be here to offer you the service. We have a passive approach to personal training, and we want you to feel comfortable in our gym without being pressured into personal training.

We intend to make this “YOUR” club and provide not only a facility, but a place where fun, cooperation, hard work and ethical behavior rule the day.  We also are considering many other offerings such as member of the month, drawings for Concerts tickets and Sports tickets, etcetera.  Again, if you have any ideas for improvements please contact our staff.

We have one simple goal; when you exit, you should feel better than when you drove in the parking lot.  If we accomplish this goal, then we will all enjoy a better day and future!
